Best assignment evar: "draw whatever you want". Therefore, I drew Gate, Lykaly and Kitten... floating in space. It's so big I had to scan it in in four chunks -- hence the rather amateur piecing-together job.
Also, if you don't fullview this, you're basically missing out on the whole piece. o.O
Kitten is mine.
Gate and Lykaly are the lovely ~dracothrope's.
Someday I will be able to look at art like this without getting jealous. Sooooomeday. However, because I'm not above torturing myself (and because it's positively gorgeous), it's getting a fav outa me.
I have no idea how you get your pencils to look like that. I can't.
mmmm I love how scanners enjoy chewing on art. >;| but I've seen this close up. aw man ; ;
and YEAH BEST ASSIGHNMENT EVER....but Im not a fan of explaining my pieces to a group of people I don't know. I guess I'll haveta get over it or peple just won't get why I draw the things I do. :/
ANYWAY. This is beautiful. And I think I'll hate you forever for coloring fur so wonderfully.

And crawling on the planet's face, Some insects, called the human race...Lost in time, and lost in space.....and meaning.
That's cause I cheated and it's not really pencil crayon. >.> well, it is, but... It's pencil crayon on top of prisma marker. Only the dark/light shadings, and color subleties, are in pencil crayon -- all of the basic colors were blocked in first with marker.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Have you had your Sargon today?
I got sneaky with the coloring. It's Prisma marker for the base tones, with dark/light and color subleties with pencil crayon on top.
