My Bio
Hi, I’m Kat Brechtel.
I was born in Red Deer, grew up in Edmonton, went to school in Calgary and am now checking out life in Vancouver. I’m a freelance illustrator and storyteller -- I love a good graphic novel, and Dinotopia was my favorite book growing up. I recently graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, majoring in Character Design, a part of the Visual Communications program, and am just starting out my freelance career.

Spring Cleaning

I just cleaned out my gallery, sending a metric fuckton of my old art into the 'scraps' section in lieu of deleting it. I kept some of my better old art up in my gallery proper because, well, it's neat to see the progression!
It's also almost time for Artslam again, so artists, ready your pencils/pens/brushes/styluses!
